AI Services and Accuracy Disclaimer

GetMyPair uses artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning to provide foot measurement, sizing recommendations, and related services. Outputs generated by these systems are estimates based on available data and are not guaranteed to be accurate in all circumstances.

Results may vary depending on image quality, lighting, device calibration, footwear condition, and user-provided information. You should use AI-generated recommendations as guidance only and not as a substitute for professional fitting or medical advice.

User Content License

By uploading or submitting content to GetMyPair — including images, foot scans, reviews, and listing materials — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, display, and process such content for the purpose of operating the platform, delivering services, improving our products, and training and refining our AI models.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit and that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account through the app or by contacting customer support. Upon confirmed deletion, your access to the platform will terminate, active listings will be removed, and personal data will be deleted or anonymised unless retention is required by law, for dispute resolution, or for legitimate business records.

Repair, Cleaning, and Restoration Disclaimer

Repair, cleaning, and restoration services involve inherent risks depending on footwear age, material, prior wear, and manufacturing quality. By using these services, you acknowledge that outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

GetMyPair is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing defects or hidden damage revealed during service
  • Material degradation due to age or prior use
  • Colour fading, dye transfer, or texture changes
  • Glue failure, sole separation, or structural weakness
  • Manufacturer defects or limitations in original construction

Marketplace Terms

GetMyPair facilitates rental, resale, and donation transactions between users. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings, lawful ownership of items offered, and compliance with applicable laws. We do not guarantee the condition, authenticity, or suitability of third-party listings.

Disputes between buyers, sellers, renters, and donors should be resolved directly between the parties, though we may provide limited support where applicable platform policies allow.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetMyPair’s total aggregate liability arising from or related to your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to GetMyPair in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Force Majeure

GetMyPair shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labour disputes, power or network failures, cyberattacks, or interruptions in third-party services.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by User

You may cancel eligible services before processing or fulfilment begins. Once a service has entered processing, cancellation may not be available and applicable charges may apply.

Eligible Refunds

Refunds may be issued for:

  • Duplicate payments or billing errors
  • Failed transactions where service was not delivered
  • Service unavailability caused by GetMyPair

Non-Refundable Charges

The following are generally non-refundable once completed or incurred:

  • Completed foot scans and sizing reports
  • Inspection or assessment fees
  • Pickup, delivery, or logistics charges already incurred
  • Repair, cleaning, or restoration work already performed

Refund Process

Refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the original transaction. Approved refunds are typically processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days to the original payment method, subject to banking timelines.

Marketplace Transactions

Refunds for peer-to-peer marketplace transactions are governed by the specific transaction terms agreed between users and applicable platform policies. GetMyPair may assist with dispute review but does not guarantee refunds for third-party sales, rentals, or donations.
